To celebrate her 100th appearance for the club, Orlando Pride commissioned custom creator Floor Wesseling, aka Blood In, Blood Out, to create a special mash-up jersey for the Brazilian, created using all seven shirts that she’s worn in her time with the NWSL side..
On 2 October, 2023, with her start in the Pride’s 1-0 win at Angel City FC, Marta became the first Orlando Pride player to play 100 games for the Club. To celebrate the history-making milestone, the Pride presented Marta with a one-of-one kit, a hand-stitched jersey that combines all seven tops that the Brazilian legend has worn on the field over her NWSL career.
The NWSL side commissioned Amsterdam-based designer Floor Wesseling who, through his company Blood in Blood out, carefully patterned the seven designs to create a one-of-a-kind art piece. The piece features the Pride’s 2017 home kit, which Marta wore when she made her debut for Orlando; the 2018/19 away kit; the 2019/20 Reflection Kit; the 2020/21 White Plume Kit; the 2021/22 Ad Astra Kit; the 2022/23 Luna Kit and the 2023 Highway Woman Kit.
Currently, Marta not only holds the all-time appearance record for the Pride (102) but also the record for most regular season starts (84), as well as goals (31) and assists (18) across all competitions, marking her out as a true club legend.
