Continuing to branch out and strengthen the club’s appeal through local sub-communities, adidas Skateboarding in partnership with renowned skate shop No Comply, has revealed a brand new No Comply x Austin FC footwear and apparel collection.
Austin FC have one of the strongest communities in the game, with roots uniting a range of different subcultures from their local community under the two intertwined oaks banner. One of those is the Skateboarding community, with whom they already share a strong relationship, having collaborated on a collection back in June 2022. Now, adidas push that relationship further with the reveal of a No Comply x Austin FC footwear and apparel collection, which features a bespoke Copa Premiere silhouette as the flagship piece.
The No Comply x Austin FC Copa Premiere silhouette is presented in a black base with green and white accents. It’s constructed with premium leather, with No Comply branding inscribed atop the footwear’s serrated Three Stripes and Austin FC’s logo stamped on the heel. The shoe is accompanied by a jersey and water shorts, which feature oversized fits and large prints, with No Comply branding appearing on both.
The jersey follows the lead of the club’s usual on-pitch attire, featuring green and black stripes, with the latter also seeing a white pinstripe running through its centre. It’s the perfect tee-up to a classic white polo collar, lending a final flourish to the shirt.
The relationship between football and skating is just one of a growing cross-culture appeal that Austin FC is only too happy to nurture, and the strength of this collaboration, bolstered by the support of Adidas, will only encourage further growth – the club showing the way forward for a new, all-embracing, football culture.
The adidas Skateboarding No Comply x Austin FC footwear and apparel collection will be available for purchase on 16 August exclusively at No Comply and at adidas.com/skateboarding, and select skate specialty retailers on 19 August.
